FWISD Racial Equity Committee just recently postponed its January meeting. The REC page did not state why the meeting was postponed, but it should not be a surprise if it were canceled because the parents are now starting to attend and question their activities and purpose. The community of parents has criticized the Committee for their CRT practice and other Woke rhetoric that should not be in any ISD.
The Committee has yet to post the Fall 2021 minutes as only the 2019 and 2020 schools years have links. Shouldn’t taxpayers have immediate access to this information? And why was the announcement to postpone only done on the FWISD website and not on all social media sites that the Equity Department has, such as Facebook and Twitter?
It Sounds to me that they are afraid that the public is now getting involved.
